ABOUT ME
Graduating as a Designer from the Institute of Design in Lahti and earning a Master of Arts from Aalto University, I majored in interior architecture. Alongside this, I pursued my passion for service design and its methods, taking it as a minor. I began my career by designing spaces but have since shifted my focus to tackling broader design challenges.
Background
Skills and capabilities
My time at a design consulting company has broadened my skills as a designer and sparked my interest in various fields of design. I consider my background in interior architecture to be crucial in understanding design on a larger scale, which is why I've loved both my studies and my work. From designing individual objects to managing entire buildings, services, and the systems behind them, I’m familiar with various dimensions and platforms. I have experience in designing products, furniture, spaces, services, websites, events, visual marketing, and graphics. Whatever the field of design, I’m on it!
My passion and values are focused on the future: how can we design innovatively to meet the needs of customers 10 years from now? First and foremost, design must be user-centered, sustainable, and inclusive, as I believe we have a significant responsibility in shaping the world for future generations. Therefore, my design process often begins with user-centered methods, and I have found significant value e.g. in hosting workshops to identify various challenges and opportunities.

Interests and passions
During my time off, I express myself through photography, dancing, and baking, which feed my soul with inspiration. I reset in nature, but once my mind is calm, it's the city where my passion thrives. In life, I appreciate everything aesthetic but dislike anything impractical.

I am always eager to tackle new challenges and expand my skill set. In my current role, I have independently learned various tools and software and taken the initiative to explore and implement new approaches that were previously untried. I view continuous learning and adapting to new situations as a key part of my professional growth and success.

To tackle design challenges, I have learned various methods to address them effectively. Typically, I have found that following a structured design process leads to successful solutions. If not, changing perspectives often provides valuable insights and alternative approaches.

In my designs, I always strive for the most optimal solution, which requires careful attention to detail. In my current role, recognizing the impact of small elements on the bigger picture has led to unified and thoughtfully considered outcomes.
I consider my core strengths to be adaptability, problem-solving, and attention to detail. As a designer, I have been described as thorough and committed, delivering innovative solutions that meet both client expectations and project goals. My ability to navigate challenges with a focus on quality and precision reflects my reliability and consistency in my work.
